We are in Schaffhausen, capital of the canton of the same name, a Swiss city that in medieval times was a free city of the Holy Roman Empire, became independent in 1415 and later became part of the Helvetic Confederation in 1501.

Today it is an important tourist center, washed by the waters of the Rhine and home to the International Watch Company’s high-end watch factory, IWC.

In this city RiFRA furnished a design villa owned by a young family, with its iconic black concrete ONE kitchen, bathrooms, and a walk-in closet.

Our client recounts his experience with RiFRA as follows:

“The villa is large, 300 square meters, with 10 rooms 3 bathrooms, a pool, a spa and is furnished in a modern style where the RiFRA kitchens and bathrooms were a perfect fit for our home.”

ONE Kitchen

The ONE kitchen, in the exclusive black hand-spatulated cement finish, features a room-center island, characterized by its 45-degree cuts on the perimeter of the doors, top, sides, and base.

Completing the design is the 6-centimeter-high plinth, also shaped at 45 degrees, which makes the island look as if it were “suspended.”

The island is complemented by the black ceramic top and the black-stained oak snack counter.

Built into the tops are the cooktops with integrated hood and a sink.

The wall part of the kitchen is marked by columns used to accommodate the refrigerator, freezer, ovens and wine cellar, as well as base and wall units to expand storage.

The top accommodates a second sink.

Bathrooms

The bathrooms were furnished by the K.ONE and Zero collections.

K.ONE echoes the lines of the ONE kitchen with 45-degree shaping around the entire perimeter of the cabinet, while Zero, is a modular system.

Closet

The sleeping area is completed by a RiFRA closet featuring glass doors and aluminum frame.

The interior cabinets, shelves and drawer units are high-gloss lacquered.
