This penthouse is located in the heart of a northern European capital and RiFRA has collaborated with the client’s architect in the design and subsequently with the installation of the kitchen and bathrooms, completing the supply with the wardrobes.
The house, which is developed in a large open-space, is divided into two primary areas: the living area with the kitchen and the sleeping area with the bedrooms, bathrooms and the room dedicated to the wardrobes.
The interior design project is characterized by an elegant colour palette with the use of different textures, ranging from elegant antique oak parquet to slate-coloured cement and Ceramic Stone Calacatta in the kitchen.
The kitchen is characterized by three elements: a large island, the area of the bases and the wall columns.
The island is part of the KUBE collection, characterized by a pure design without grooves and handles. The island is in Ceramic Stone Gold Calacatta finish with minimum thicknesses of 0.8 cm. The interior of the kitchen is in oak wood. A cooker hob has been installed on the island, flush with the worktop.
The plinth of the island also contributes to the design of the whole: it is in fact 45° shaped in matt black lacquered MDF.
The area of the columns has an L- layout.
The first part is more traditional and consists of columns for the insertion of appliances such as the combined oven, wine cellar, refrigerator with freezer while a column is dedicated to the pantry.
The second part consists of a “free standing” display cabinet with bronze glass doors and black aluminium frame. Inside, the shelves are covered in black microfibre. The display case is completed by LED lighting integrated in the upper panel.
The wall bases are always from the KUBE collection in black Cement finish, hand-spatulated, while the top is in Gold Calacatta, which recalls the material of the kitchen island.
Worthy of note is the sink integrated in the top, created without visible cuts.
The master bathroom is an integral part of the bedroom. The first impact is represented by the SMOOTH Cristalplant bathtub in the middle of the room.
The cabinet is from the K.ONE collection in pure white matt lacquer, with a top with an integrated single sink.
The design of K.ONE is characterized by the structure and doors of the cabinet shaped at 45°, as if they were floating in the air. The composition is completed by the 2HD mirror with LED backlighting.
The master bathroom is completed by the CLEAN accessories, in satin steel and solid surface and the taps from the WAVE collection, also in satin steel.
The guest bathroom was instead furnished with the LAVAMANI furniture in glossy black lacquer and the sanitary BOLD suspended in opaque ceramic, always completed with accessories in satin steel and solid surface.
The room dedicated to the wardrobes is on 4 walls: two of them with bases units and drawers; a wall with high wardrobes in matt lacquered finish; a wall always with high wardrobes but with aluminum frame and bronze glass doors.
This “dressing room”, with lacquered and glass doors, has been designed and produced according to the needs of the customer and combining the needs of storage to the aesthetic ones.
