The official RiFRA blog, Kitchens and Baths direct from Milano

Historical Villa with RiFRA Kitchen, Piedmont.

We are in Alessandria, in Piedmont, a rich town with an imprint of elegance and sophistication, also known as ‘the city with the hat’ because one of the most important artists of Italian fashion was born and lived there: Giuseppe Borsalino.

The extraordinary historic villa of our clients, which dates back to the 17th century, has undergone a major renovation, with the aim of preserving and enhancing all the original details belonging to that period.

The RiFRA kitchen that our clients chose is the FLY model with island.

As we can see from the photos taken by our Media Team, the design of the RiFRA kitchen, together with the finishes chosen, in collaboration with our artistic direction, have been able to integrate with the historical characteristics of the building.

The FLY kitchen with its characteristic 30° angles on the top and 45° angles on the doors is composed of three elements: a large island, the base unit area and the wall-mounted tall units

The island is in an oak finish while the top is in matt quartz.

On the island, which is also used as a snack, the cooking top has been installed, with a flush worktop and a hidden hood.

The wall-mounted base units are also from the FLY collection in a glossy lacquer finish, while the top is in matt quartz, which echoes the material of the kitchen island.

The traditional tall unit is from the LINE collection and is made up of tall units to house appliances such as a combined oven and fridge freezer, while a tall unit is used as a larder unit.

Below are some extracts from the interview with our customers:

“We got to know RiFRA when we chose the furniture for our first house, and we were really satisfied, not only because of the quality of the products and the design, but also because it allowed us to furnish all the rooms creating a continuity of style, enhancing the value of our home.

We decided to turn to RiFRA once again for the realisation of the kitchen in our city house;

A historical environment, very different from the previous modern house, but in which RiFRA has been able to integrate its own design and finishes, creating an extremely elegant project in full respect of the history of a building that dates back to 600.

We were successful in designing a kitchen with an island in this house, which we were very keen on, and which blends perfectly in terms of palette and materials with the fresco that dominates the room.

Once again, relying on RiFRA has translated into a guarantee of the result, through an experience of quality and professionalism that has led us to an extraordinary kitchen environment that we could not have imagined achieving otherwise.

We would like to thank our clients for the trust they have placed in RiFRA, it has been a pleasure for us to work and collaborate on their project.
